Just like his name implies, Mochi is a mushy, sweet, round rice cake. But, please don't eat him! This Mochi is for petting, snuggling, playing with and gazing at adoringly. How could you not, with that soft gray coat, piercing green eyes and perfectly round cheeks. But, Mochi's personality is what really seals the deal - he's friendly, outgoing, playful, smart, gentle and oh-so-sweet. 11-month-old Mochi didn't take long to acclimate here and seems to love everyone (and everyone certainly loves him back). He doesn't hesitate to greet you when you enter his colony, but he paitently and politely waits for his turn for pets, treats or whatever you're offering. In fact, he loves treats and treat puzzles! He gets along well with the other cats and has formed quite the gang with Lavender and CleoCatra. His previous home said he's not a big fan of dogs. Our facility is open 12-5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. We are closed Mondays and Wednesdays but are happy to arrange appointments outside business hours.
